When I was growing up, I absolutely loved Easter. Actually, I still do!

Every Easter Saturday we would head out into the garden with a good-sized hat in hand — always hoping that the bigger the hat, the more chocolate eggs it might eventually hold! But before the eggs came the fun part.

We would spend time wandering around the garden searching for beautiful little treasures from nature to decorate our Easter baskets. Leaves, flowers, grasses, feathers, seed pods… anything that caught our eye. It was simple, creative and felt a little bit magical.

Those memories have always stayed with me, and they are the inspiration behind our Easter Basket Making Workshop for Kids here at the farm.

Children will get to create their own Easter basket with natural decorations, dried and fresh flowers, to take home for the Easter Bunny. It’s a lovely way to slow down, get creative and enjoy the magic of the season outdoors.

Sometimes the simplest traditions become the most special ones.
